Even after 27 years in SMXMU MBA, OneMBA has shown me there is always something new to learn--and better ways to learn it! I love leadership, strategy and cross-cultural research, all of which are needed for successful global business, but OneMBA teaches these like no other program on the planet. Students from almost 40 countries, in 5 universities in 5 countries, cooperate in global teams in every course to put theory to practice.

OneMBA is as exciting and challening for the professors as it is for students. Each class, I work with students from dozens of countries as they work together on global projects. I’ve learned a lot from the foreign students and the other four universities’ professors. But the foreign students and professors have also been surprised by what they have learned from the Chinese students.

The ancient Chinese invented almost everything, and the past two decades has proven Chinese are just as innovative and driven today. But China’s amazing success today owes much to global trade, and that trade can be sustainable only by keeping abreast of changes in our rapidly evolving international business enironment. No program meets the need better than OneMBA, where students from all over the world aren’t just passively taught but actively engage in global projects that pit theory with practice.

China’s great success, historically and today, owes much to two factors: good leadership and policies, and an entrepreneurial people. But success tomorrow requires keeping abreast of the rapidly evolving challenges in the global community.
